The CK-143MS is a Ninety ton mech based on the Stormvanger assemblies Cyclops chassis. Efforst have been made to further protect the pilot and sensitive battletac gear by a re-arrangement ot the armor baffles that protect the head. In addition twin AMS perch from the torso to provide additional protection. The mech is more suited to fighting at range as the large bore auto cannon has been replaced by a pair of extended range particle cannon, the long range missle rack deleted and another short range missle quad rack installed. The only armament remaining is the lasers in each arm which provide wide arc fire.

Pen and ink drawing colored in Photostudio 5, I'm not %100 happy with some of the design, but it does look like everyone's favorite over-eater.

Being the BattleTech fan I am, and with the amount of smut I have seen on TV, all I can say is...
NICE!! Plan to send me the complete record sheet or at least the Tech. Readout sometime, though? :D

That is PERfect!

It captures cooooooooookie monster perfectly, yet is believable as a mech. This entry will stick out in the contest!

But really, it's all about the googly-eyes. Are they any particular weapons system i.e. radar or turret lasers?

The "ball turrets" house the AMSs which protect the cockpit. I admit if they weren't there it would look like a pretty normal mech. The pear shaped body was easy to work in and you might note the pointy fingers. The only part that isn't quite cookie monsterish is the feet which I'm a little unhappy with.

AMSs. That works:

-There being TWO of them is arguable (360o coverage, eh?).
-They are positioned at a practicle place on the mech for their purpose -- not blocked by other structures or componants.

In fact, if they WEREN'T up there, much less present at all, I say he would be LESS of a "realistic mech". Bing bang boom, thereyougo.

I disaggree about the feet, because he IS a mech, and they do sort of stick out -- floppy, and pointed outwards in a half-waddle. I say they're right-on.
